Ayesha Ismail from eNCA who was at the East London High Court for the trial of murder accused Alutha gave an elaboration of the slain Nosicelo Mtebeni ´s last moments alive. The narration was heartbreaking.
Ayesha elaborated how the defenceless Nosicelo tried to fight for her life before she would be stabbed and slammed against the wall before falling down and taking her last breath.

Even though the suspect in the murder case pleaded guilty to the killing of Nosicelo, it is heartbreaking that the dream she had of graduating in April 2022 was cut short by Aluthu Pasile .
The events that led to the killing of Nosicelo are an elaboration of how insecurities can be deadly. The suspect became obsessed with his girlfriend such that he alleged that his girlfriend was cheating on him.
Aluthu´s situation needs to serve as a lesson to all the men who are in relationships. The lesson is that one should not be quick to make conclusions based on the behaviour of his lover. Aluthu alleged that his girlfriend´s behaviour had changed when she had returned from home. There is nowhere in the alleged confession that he tried to talk to his girlfriend to find out what was happening.
Women need to be cared for and understood, but Aluthu failed to do that. It would have worked out for him had he spoken to his girlfriend in a civilised and respectful manner. Assuming that she was cheating on him based on her behaviour and going through all the trouble of unlocking her phone was so low of him. All that he had to do was to talk to his girlfriend and find out what was bothering her.
Why are men quick to associate a change in behaviour in a relationship with cheating? What if she is going through some personal challenges you won´t be aware of?
