A man from Area 2 in Mhlasini sustained serious gunshot wounds after he was shot several times by suspects while standing alone outside a Tavern.
According to the Reaction Unit South Africa news report, today 23 November 2021 at around 19:42 pm Reaction Unit South Africa members were called for assistance after a man was shot several times by suspects outside a Tavern in Mhlasini, witnesses saw two suspects fleeing on foot after the shooting occurred.
RUSA Medics were dispatched to the scene and they found the victim lying on ground bleeding from his chest and arm, they tried to stabilise him at the scene and he was quickly to the hospital by an ambulance, the reason behind why the victim was shot is still unknown at this stage.
Reaction Unit South Africa members recovered spent 9mm cartridges at the scene, a case of attempted murder has been registered and whoever has information that could lead to the arrest of the two suspects should contact the RUSA number.
