Four people killed in a horrific accident in Newcastle, Kwazulu Natal

Four people have been tragically killed in a horrific accident in Newcastle, KwaZulu Natal on 4th Thursday 2021. The accident was a head-on Collison between a taxi and truck. The deceased names are yet to be announced pending notification of the next keen.
The scene was still being processed by the time of the reporting (8:00 pm) and the police have urged members of the public to drive with caution along R34 Memel Road. The reason for the accident is yet to be officially announced but according to the preliminary investigation, it seems like the taxi driver failed to negotiate the corner which causes him to veer off his lane into the on-coming truck.
The provincial commander has urged members of the public to drive with caution especially after the heavy rain in the last few days.
