Four individuals have been arrested by the Kano State Commissioner Of police in connection with the attempted theft of livestock in the state's Sani Mainagge areas.

The adolescent suspects specialize in food animals theft, according to the command's spokesman, DSP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, who made the announcement in a statement on Tuesday, May 25.
"On the 8th of May, 2021, at approximately 1600 hours, a bystander reported seeing some young men in a tricycle with some abducted goats.
After receiving the report, the Operation Puff Adder team hurried to the area; however, when the suspects saw the police, they bolted "he explained.
"Four (4) accused, one Aminu Musa, eighteen, Sani Abdullahi, eighteen, Huzaifa Jafar, eighteen, and Rabiu Lukman, 17 years of age, all ‘m' of Sani Mainagge quarters, Kano State, were detained.
"A tricycle and two (2) goats were discovered in their possession, one (1) of which had already been slaughtered by the accused. As the investigation continues, efforts are being made to apprehend additional fugitive suspects. Following the conclusion of the inquiry, the suspects will be charged in court."
