They often say that the way you raise children is the way the kids will grow into adults.
A Northern Cape man found himself in trouble with the law after he stabbed and killed his own father.
It is alleged that A 31-year-old Groblershoop man, Renaldo Remacio van Wyk had an altercation with his father David Malo. Before the two could reach an understanding, van Wyk took out a knife and stabbed his twice in the back.
The duo was in the company of a family friend and in his rage, van Wyk also stabbed his friend Ntlokwana once in his chest.
Both victims suffered internal injuries and died on the scene before they could get help.
Van Wyk was slapped with a harsh 30 years’ imprisonment for the murders.
The cause of the altercation was not given. But this is one case of a child not having been raised well that he dared lift his hand to his father.
