South African Police Service SAPS officers in conjunction with a private security agency have apprehended a group of men who are involved in stealing cables belonging to Eskom in the Zuba Area.




According to police, the recovered stolen cables are estimated to be worth R60 000. Other items like ladders, safety ropes, and cutters were also recovered from the suspected cable thieves.
"In Kwazulu-Natal Umkomaas @SAPoliceService and private security arrested a group of men in Zuba area found stealing cables belonging to Eskom and @eThekwiniM. The recovered copper cables are valued at R60 000, Ladders, safety ropes & cutters were found in possession of the suspects."
