KZN experienced another flooding episode this past weekend. The area of Umdloti was affected the first time and they have just started to recover and just a month later another flooding happened leaving the area with even more damage.
What used to be a holiday destination for many tourists to gather is now just a disastrous sight to look at. Many apartments are right on the ocean which was an attraction for many people have been destroyed with flooding. People have lost their homes as flats started to fall with the extreme mid slide that happened.
KZN has faced the first flooding on the 11th is April where it rained for 2 two days and have damaged so much. This time the rainfall was only just on Saturday 21 May and have damaged even more than the first time.
