COWS HIT THE GYM!

IT used to be a recreation center, however since lockdown began the recreation center has transformed into an eating region for steers. 


Occupants of Imbali unit 2 in Pietermaritzburg said the recreation center is their open air exercise center, however nobody is keeping up the region.

They were upbeat when the district set up exercise center hardware yet now it's pointless. 

Nobuhle Mhlongo (33) has never utilized the recreation center however her children did. 


"I disclosed to them not to go there any longer since they'll get nibbled by snakes," she said. 


"Also, I dread that the cows will wind up assaulting them. I heard that cows don't prefer to be upset."

"The recreation center has been kept up by a neighbor, however I believe he's worn out and has surrendered," said gogo. 


A 12-year-old kid, who was playing in park with his five-year-old sibling, said they actually go to the recreation center since they don't have toys. 


"We like to practice yet we're worried about the possibility that that we'll see frogs," he said. 


Councilor Siphiwe Ndawonde said he's mindful of the issue and has revealed it to the applicable division. 


"I think the issue is that the district is under organization. There's no cash," said Ndawonde. 


He said it wasn't just the recreation center that wasn't kept up. 


Civil representative Thobeka Mafumbatha said she'd check if the matter was accounted for to the applicable division. 


"Indeed, there are a few issues we're confronting. In any case, we'll investigate the matter," said Mafumbatha.
