A Facebook post by Patrick Shai's son about how mortified he was when his father's video became viral has surfaced. Kopano Shai came to Facebook three days before his father's unexpected death to express his disappointment with his father for humiliating him and his family.
Kopano screamed at his father, accusing him of being irresponsible and greedy. He alleged that when Patrick Shai made and released that obscene film, he put him and his family in a vulnerable situation.
"I realize the impact that it has on him as a brand and on me as an establishing brand," Kopano said in a Facebook post that has since been deleted.
His negligence and selfishness have put myself and my family in a vulnerable situation. The shame is so profound that no expression is possible.
I'm standing where I am, wondering what happened to the doors I'm pounding on. With misty eyes, I type this profoundly emotional message.
Some of you may find it amusing, and some of you may realize the depths of grief and disgrace my family is experiencing." The Daily Sun took a screenshot of Kopano Shai's Facebook post before it was removed, which you can see below.
Kopano Shai also shared a rest in peace tribute on his Facebook page following his father's passing. "Above everything else, he's my father." "Jita, may you rest in peace," he added.
Patrick Shai had become the focus of internet persecution before he died, following a heated debate with Cassper Nyovest. Patrick eventually issued an apology in a statement, but it did not stop trolls from abusing him again.
Following Patrick Shai's death, social media users have turned on Cassper and his followers, saying that his acts reportedly contributed to Patrick Shai's death.
What do you think about this matter as a reader? What do you think about the speech that his son has made?
