Eastern Cape got denies service delivery interruptions due to elective conference

The Department of Public Works and National Roads, Local Government, and Environmental Affairs released a statement on its Facebook page, saying the conference will not cause any service interruption.

The Eastern Cape Premier, David Makhura, on Thursday said the provincial government was not aware of any service interruptions due to the SA National Conference, saying the allegations were "spreading malicious lies".

The Department of Consumer Affairs, Trade and Industry (DCATI) says it will not impose any service delivery interruptions as a result of the SABC’s decision to suspend broadcasting of the National Conference of the South African Communist Party (SACP), due to take place at the University of Fort Hare on Saturday.

The Department of Public Service and Administration (DPSA) in the Eastern Cape has denied that there will be any service delivery interruption in connection with the recent conference in Port Elizabeth.

The Eastern Cape Department of Social Development said on Monday that it had not experienced any service delivery interruptions due to the election of the president of the country.
