Theft robbery

Look How A Car Owner Woke Up To His Vehicle In KZN This Morning After It Was Stolen (Photos)

The number of thefts being recorded in SA is increasing at a worrisome rate. These days almost anything can be stolen, as thefts range from expensive to even trivial things worth little value. This theft pandemic has become a nuisance in Mzansi as it is difficult to feel safe with one's expensive vehicle or even an iPhone.

Miscreants now go about stealing from anyone whenever they feel like it, which means that these thieves could carry out their operations in broad daylight. Many still wonder how our beloved Mzansi fell to this state. However, we still hope that the police will step up their game and put an end to this issue.

A red VW Golf was stolen from its owner in Buffelsdraai - KZN, however, the owner proceeded to Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) Headquarters after he got tipped off that his vehicle was being striped in the vicinity of where it had been stolen from. However, the owner wasn't able to provide a specific location of the vehicle so Reaction Officers patrolled the Buffelsdraai - KZN area and found the vehicle.

Sadly, the vehicle was stripped of the tyres & rims, radiator and battery before it was abandoned by the perpetrators. The vehicle's owner received that his car was stolen at around 01:00 this morning from his property.

Now, imagine parking your vehicle at your house so you could rest for the night and this happens. This theft problem is costing South Africans a lot of money because the vehicle owner in this report has to replace his vehicle.

"A red VW Golf that was stolen from Buffelsdraai - KZN was recovered and stripped this morning (Thursday).

The owner of the car arrived at Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) Headquarters at approximately 06:18 requesting assistance after he received a tip-off that his vehicle was being striped in the vicinity of where it had been stolen from. The complainant could not provide Reaction Officers with the exact location of the vehicle. Officers patrolled the Buffelsdraai - KZN area and recovered the vehicle abandoned. The tyres & rims, radiator and battery were stolen.

According to the owner, the vehicle was stolen at approximately 01:00 this morning from his property," reports claim.

For me, since theft has increased in Mzansi, then our police force should triple its efforts at catching these criminals. If our police force starts an intensive operation to curb these miscreants, their activities with stop.
