Tshegofatso Pule was threatened before she was brutally killed

Tshegofatso Pule received SMS threats in May 2020, a month before her assassination.Threats seem to come from the unknown.The father of Pule's unborn child is accused of plotting to assassinate him.Tshegofatso Pule received SMS threats from an unknown number last month before being brutally killed on June 4, 2020. 

 At the trial of Ntuthuko Shoba on Thursday, the accused Alleging mastermind behind Pule's murder, the state delivered the SMS messages Pule May received in 2020, marked as Appendix Q in the filing. Pule's friend of 16 years, Tshepiso Tsita, previously testified before Gauteng High Court in Johannesburg that Pule had received threatening text messages from an "unknown woman". 

 The messages seen by News24 begin on Tuesday, May 5, 2020, with a stranger telling Pule that he has spoken to his 'contacts' [sic] and that he knows Where does Pule work. 

 "I come to your workplace, continue to disrespect me wena. Woman to woman, how does it feel to sleep with another woman's man. You are the pit", one person write hidden in text. Pule replied with "wena wahlanaya...", which translates into English as "you are crazy". 

 Pule responded by saying to the unknown: "You really hurt your baby and I promise you if you keep doing this to me you will literally go to a mental institution and imagine how happy I would be." How happy are you with your 'so-called' man 'whom you [have] disappeared." 

 Next Wednesday, May 6, 2020, a stranger sends a text, revealing the status her and advised Pule to get tested. On Thursday, May 7, 2020, strangers texted Pule, "You make me sick." 

 The stranger added on Friday, May 8, 2020: "Don't be generous to your chef. Look now, so many possibilities about who the father is. I feel for you sisi."Pule did not respond to the remaining texts. Pule was brutally murdered on June 4, 2020. 

 Muzikayise Malephane, the man who admitted to killing her, testified that he shot her in Noordgesig and left a heavily pregnant Pule hanged on tree in Durban Deep, Roodepoort. 

 Shoba, the father of the unborn child, was implicated in her murder after the state charged Malephane last January. 

 Malephane alleges that he carried out the mission under Shoba's instructions. 

 Shoba faces one count of murder, attempted murder, and two counts of total deprivation of justice. He pleaded not guilty to the charges.
