Man Murders His Wife In Cold Blood Over Money, See What He Did Next

In a startling turn of events, a married man has done the unthinkable to his spouse, inflicting anguish and sadness to both families. The 46-year-old man did not stop there; instead, he decided to commit suicide. Patrick Markson, a man from Bayelsa State, is accused of murdering his 35-year-old wife Hannah Markson.

According to witnesses who were there at the time, the man pretended to be a member of the Yenagoa Local Government personnel and allegedly bludgeoned his wife to death in her sleep with a sledgehammer, killing her instantly. He claimed to have seen the woman bleed to death and then inhaled a deadly substance, possibly pesticide, before sleeping by the bleeding corpse and passing away. It was later discovered that the couple, who had six children together, had some unresolved marital issues previous to the sad incident. According to the "Vanguard," the misunderstanding concerns money earned through a contract granted to the spouse by some of his wife's family worth $1098.
