Following the ongoing chaos in the South Africa, crime could now be considered as a norm in the country as people engages in it daily. The rate at which innocent souls dies recklessly is quite disheartening as the government is not working towards to it.
Recently, we have heard news of open shootings numerous times in the country. People have been shot dead without any reason and the perpetrator are yet to be caught by the Police. Today, we received another shooting news targeted at a taxi boss who narrowly escaped death. According to sources, the boss was shot and wounded at Green Str. Brenthurst. Brakpan (Gauteng Province).
However, the lucky man didn't die at the ugly incident as God is yet to call him home. He have been admitted to hospital for urgent treatment. It's indeed a miracle if he survives it and come out alive. People are now getting shot nowadays and the motive is still unknown at this stage.
Actually, people are no longer safe in this country, you can't tell who will be the next victim if action is not taken today. The government should wake up from their slumber and fight off this pending terrorism before it escalate. Moreover, people on social media couldn't hold back as they flooded the comment section with their opinions. See screenshots of people's reactions on the post:
@Mosito, The motive might still be unknown but I may speculate that it is taxi violence related, I might be wrong and stand to be corrected.
@Rose, When are the taxi people going to get their house in order without resorting to violence. Business people are counting money and they counting dead taxi owners drivers and never mind the innocent paying passengers.
@Selepe, A business leader must not drive or be driven in such a vehicle if he is taking his life seriously. All business leaders irrespective of the industry, must just have level 6 amoured vehicles in this country.
Judging from the comment section, I think that taxi drivers are jealous of themselves and always resort to harming who is deemed to be progressing. This silly attitude of them need to be stopped by the government before more lives will be taken.
