By Sphe J Hadebe

Is there something wrong with Milpark private hospital? Is the medication provided there not enough to keep people alive? Why is it that most celebrities and well known people who are admitted in Milpark hospital ends up dying?

These are some of the questions people are asking themselves on social media following the death of a top politician on Wednesday who had been admitted in Milpark hospital.

Another sad day in the family of a high profile politician in South Africa as it has lost their loved one, a father and a husband.

It was reported that the top ANC leader in Gauteng who is the former mayor has sadly lost his life after being involved in a car accident last week Monday.

People took to social media to show their feelings towards his passing as they were saddened by his death.

However, what made people speak a lot more about the late Joburg mayor, Mpho Moerane is the fact that he passed away at Netcare Milpark hospital in Johannesburg.

When you think of this hospital, surely you recall the names of public figures who were admitted there and passed on.

Last year we lost lot of them, here is just a summary of high profiles who died at that hospital:

1. Jackson Mthembu- the former Minister in the presidency who died of Covid-19 complications in December 202

2. Queen Mantfombi- Her Majesty, the late AmaZulu Queen also died there after battling short illness.

3. Prince Khuzulwandle

4. Queen Nothando Dube

5. Prime Minister of eSwatini

6; Manqoba Vilakati- Minister of Labour in eSwatini

7. Shona Ferguson.

The list goes on but these are just the few. Even EFF leader, Julius Malema questioned this hospital with so many high profile deaths.

The former mayor just added to the list now.
