Zimbabwean nationals living in South Africa are not comfortable with the level of treatment meted against them in the country. Many Zimbos resident in South Africa have complained about degrading treatment most of them are subjected to while in SA.
South Africans on the other hand have justified their actions on ground that Zimbabwean nationals create unhealthy competition between themselves and citizens of South Africa which sometimes do not work out in favour of South African people.
In an emerging report, a Zimbabwean man who bears the name Rutendo Matinyarare on Twitter has lamented over the the ill treatment given to Zimbabweans compared to what is obtainable between South African people and persons of European nationalities.
He urged citizens of South Africa to refrain from segregation and treat everybody the same irrespective of where they come from.
According Matinyarare's exact statement on Twitter:
"Zimbabweans are no different from Jews, Indians, Britons, Germans, Greeks, Italians, Chinese and Europeans who form the biggest proportion of expatriates in South Africa and other parts of the world.
Zimbabweans are merely the Jews of Africa".
