Lefe of the seven miners is on tenderhooks. Relatives of the seven miners arw concerned about the rescue operations, which is taking days before any development. Vumbachikwe and Bux Mine workers were still in the shaft pumping water into the underground dam on Monday, when ZBC visited the site.
One relative of one of the seven miners, said that his father was the breadwinner and they wish he will be rescued soon. Another one said they are heartbroken and devastated, as they do not know if they are still alive or not. However, they are wishing and praying for the best.
However, the rescue team and the mine workers are doing everything they can, to rescue the trapped miners. Phillip Chiwaza the mine administrator, confirmed that they are working day and night to rescue the trapped team.
We hope that they will be rescued soon.
