Human Trafficking: There is an incident that took place in Glen Austin, Midrand JHB earlier today. Police raided a smallholding and rescued 33 Ethiopian nationals, one man was arrested. It is believed other Ethiopian nationals were “sold to work.” it seems like those people were trafficked all the way from Ethiopia and taken to South Africa, this is very shocking and worrying because the crime rate in this country is a very high.
Some people think these people are never sold as they put it, they make arrangements with traffickers to take them to other countries then they have to work to pay the people that brings them into the different countries. Recruit unemployed youth give them descent living salary and train them as a special force to work hand in hand with the SANDF, and Metro police the task to bombard every building and get illegal foreigners out of South Africa instead of these R350.
