All Hell Breaks Loose After Eskom Switched Off Electricity For Soweto Residents

Traffic has been affected in Diepkloof as residents continue with their Electricity protest, the Soweto highway has been blocked off with rocks and burning tyres.

The community is basically tired at they are unable to use electricity despite electricity being available to use in public, this has become such a problem for the people of this country.

There are some people who don’t pay electricity in South Aftica, predominantly in Soweto and KwaZulu-Natal. This has caused a huge problem in the country because others have to incur the costs that others do not pay, Eskom does not tolerate and they shut down most of these areas.

The N1 has been affected as well including Chris Hani road which been obstructed at Modjadji street in Pimville, we know very well that’s Soweto residents don’t really play when it comes to protesting for what they want.

They will go out of their way in order to get everything that they want which is great but it is affecting the lives of the ordinary members of the public, who want to use that road.
