A horrific accident on the R547 near Aucland Road was reported around 5pm. The accident left a vehicle overturned in the middle of the road.
Several people were injured as a result of the accident, it is not known what transpired for the accident to occur as well as the circumstances which it occured under.
1 individual was seriously injured, two were moderately injured and 1 other person suffered light injuries. The injured individuals received medical attention from medical personnel and were later taken to hospital for more medical care and attention.
There was 1 fatality recorded, the person was declared dead on the scene by medical personnel who were at the scene of the accident.
Investigations into the accident are still ongoing.
Individuals are urged to observe all road rules to avoid any road accidents that might occur.
