Yesterday (Wednesday) in the early hours four children were kidnapped along with their transport driver. It came as a shock to many people that why would someone just kidnap a transport driver and school children. In most instances, this is done by people who know the family or perpetrators who have seen how often you use that route. You become a target, they keep on watching you until they get an opportunity to attack.
The crime rate in our country is increasing on a daily basis and its becoming a norm. Law enforcement officers should work hard to elliviate this crime completely. The lawyer for the family of the four children that were kidnapped in Polokwane on Wednesday believes that the motive for the incident is to extort money. According to the family lawyer Philip Smit, the parents of the children are well-known business people Nazim and Shakira Moti.
