Four (4) people were shot and believed to be taxi drivers in Mdantsane
The Minister of Transport in the province, Weziwe Gxothiwe Tikana, arrived at the scene, where four (4) people died on yesterday's shooting in Mdantsane.
The shooting of the taxis has left the community of Mdantsane in shock, people were shocked by the incident of seeing people die in the shooting that happened yesterday afternoon.
This incident follows the incident that took place Months ago when the Ngqushwa public transport station was also visited by an unknown person, who also visited the offices of the (taxi) managers and fired. Fortunately, no one died in the incident.
In this incident, it is a fact that among the dead there is a man, who was working in the offices of the local taxi association, who apparently opened fire and killed two people who were inside the office.
The shooting happened at the Mdantsane offices of the Ncedo Service Taxi Association in Mdantsane near the M&K building on the township's main road, Gordon Qumza Highway, between NU 1 and NU 2.
This incident was confirmed on Wednesday evening by the Minister of Transport, Security and Communications Weziwe Tikana-Gxothiwe, his spokesperson Unathi Binqose.
