Rulani Mokwena at Mamelodi Sundowns currently serves as one of the Head Coaches working alongside Manqoba Mngqithi and Steve Komphela. He is not just one of the senior leaders at the club but he is also a role model, mentor and a father figure to some of the players at Downs.

The death of Motjeka Madisha left one of the sombre moods at Chloorkop as his colleagues were shattered following the confirmation of his death. The Mamelodi Sundowns players were devastated during his memorial service and some of the few who were there to attend his funeral service.
Coach Rulani Mokwena joined Mamelodi Sundowns in 2014 as an assistant to coach Pitso Mosimane, during his first spell at the team the late Motjeka Madisha was still at the club junior ranks. When Motjeka was introduced to the senior team he served under the leadership of Rulani and Mosimane before he was loaned out to University of Pretoria.
Returning from his loan spell he continued to excel under his coaches. As a young player he had a fatherly relationship with his coaches as they were his elders. Rulani Mokwena, according to his latest social media post he is still shattered over the death of Motjeka Madisha whom he considers to be his son. In his post he further mentions that Motjeka use to call him his father and in turn revealing that the shared a special bond. Rulani is shattered over losing someone he was dearly close to, we can only hope he finds comfort and cleasure in time.
The late Motjeka Madisha was finally laid to rest this past weekend in his hometown village of Ga-Madisha Leolo, Zebediela in Limpopo province.
