LOTUSVILLE (KZN) - A Rusa (Reaction Unit Of South Africa) officer was stabbed in the forehead just above the right eye after trying to arrest a suspect.
RUSA was called over by a concerned house owner after she spotted a suspect in her yard.
Reaction officers then responded to the scene where the suspect then jumped over the wall and ran behind properties.
Reaction officers then led on a long chase on foot and when one officer attempted to arrest the suspect he then stabbed the officer with a scissor.
Then officer had to use force to put the suspect down until back up came, the suspect was handed over to the police and he sustained some injuries as he fell. The officer sustained minor injuries
