Many people are puzzled by the story of a Bangladeshi man, but his identity card is Lebogang Ndlovu.

A man by the name of Fahim Kazi was arrested at OR Tambo International Airport on Wednesday night.

The Department of Home Affairs is currently in the process of cracking down on crime. It was discovered that the man had applied for asylum in 2015 but was unsuccessful. According to him, he was based in Kimberley, Northern Cape.

Minister Dr Aaron Motsoaledi urged South Africans to keep their IDs safe and not to sell them to wealthy people.

“Following the trail, we found out where the ID was made and what the corrupt work was. This job is part of the crime watchdog industry. That is why there must be an immediate arrest, ”Motsoaledi said.

Reports indicate that the criminal team comprises 13 immigrants and 13 South Africans. It is said to operate in Gauteng, Limpopo, KwaZulu-Natal, Eastern Cape, Western Cape and Mpumalanga and to work with corrupt Home Affairs officials.
