Cause explosions in transformers and mini stations and pose a danger to people of the community. Eskom is battling to deal with the increase in equipment failure caused by overloading of the network which is costing them millions to repair. However until they fully deal with the situation, we will have to continue to deal with Loadshedding. Below you can find all the details for tonight's period, followed by some tips to prepare.
Tonight Limpopo, North West, The Free State and the Cape Coastal Cluster will all experience loadshedding periods. If you live in one of these province, study the statements below to see if you area will be affected and what time. If you live in the Limpopo province, please note that two press releases were released for the various district. So please make sure you are reading the one that pertains to your own district.

Limpopo (Sekhukhune, Vhembe and Waterberg Districts) :
North West :
Free State :
Cape Coastal Cluster :
First and foremost I urge you to put your devices on charge as soon as possible. Your devices will be able to keep you entertained, be used as a light source and enable you to call for help in an emergency. So it is imperative that they have enough battery life.
Since the loadshedding periods are quite short, lasting only a few hours, I urge you to find something to do in that time to pass it. For example you can read by candle light, take a nap or play games with your family.
While these periods of loadshedding are necessary to help stop the network from overloading. I hope they are dealt with soon as they are an inconvenience to many South Africans.
