In South Africa, there is a list of towns where exclusively white people live.

Orania may be the most well-known white-only settlement in South Africa, but it is far from the only one. On this list, I've included three well-known white-only settlements in South Africa.

1 Orania is the first (Northern Cape)

Orania, in the Northern Cape, is well-known, and the town has risen in popularity over the years, sparking numerous arguments.A sign that says "Welcome to Orania"

Apartheid's spirit lingers alive in the sparsely inhabited Karoo area in the heart of South Africa's Northern Cape.

I spent a few days in Orania, a town founded in 1991 that is devoid of black residents.

I was part of a BBC team that was accredited to visit, which included Zimbabwean journalist Stanley Kwenda.

And I didn't see any other black individuals in the town of 1,000 at that time, which is remarkable in modern South Africa.

Because of concerns about "diluting culture," it is an Afrikaner-only community where only Afrikaans is spoken.

2) Eureka moment (Northern Cape)

Eureka is located in the Northern Cape, just like Orania. Adriaan Nieuwoudt founded the little town in 2019.

3 Kleinfontein is a town in South Africa (Tshwane)

Kleinfointein, which is virtually obscure to most South Africans, is located in the capital city of Tshwane. The Afrikaners founded the little hamlet in 1992 as a cultural community, barely two years before South Africa gained independence in 1994.

Do you know of any additional towns where solely white people live that I didn't mention in the article? Please notify me by leaving a comment with their names.
