Two Cops In Dock On Charges Of Attempted Murder, Dealing In Drugs

A cop will show up in court on Monday on charges of endeavored murder, terrorizing and driving a state vehicle without assent while another will show up on charges of managing in drugs. 

Western Cape police representative Brig Novela Potelwa said the two officials were required to show up in the Blue Downs and Goodwood courts individually following their captures. 

"A 26-year-old constable based at Kleinvlei police headquarters was captured on Friday for purportedly shooting and harming a lady in 2020, driving a state vehicle without assent just as terrorizing of a cop. 

"Then, a 31-year-old-sergeant working at Elsies River SAPS was captured at his home in Belhar on Friday after he purportedly provided medications to detainees in court and in police cells. He will show up in the Goodwood officer's court on Monday. The captures are essential for focused endeavors to tidy up the SAPS of degenerate components."
