Sad as a teacher kills herself by jumping into a well since she does not have enough money to provide food for her students.
As reported, the sad crime was perpetrated by a woman who was supposed to be a secondary school teacher, who plunged herself into a deep well.
Her situation was brought to the attention of the public on Facebook by a citizen named Nagaziman, who detailed her suffering in the form of an open letter written to President Muhammadu Buhari.
The text of the post read as follows:
"Your Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Bello, one of your "Dearest Teachers" is buried in this well, which you are commemorating today. She committed herself a few days ago, he wrote, "because she was starving and depressed since she didn't have enough money to feed and care for her children."
"Her name is Mrs Yusuf Bosede Khadija, and she is from Okuhapa in the Okehi local government area of Kogi State."
"So many teachers and local government employees who do not have children to care for them are dying on a daily basis, but the majority of the news does not make it to the media because some people are so excellent at concealing the reality from the public," says the author.
"Sir, I have no personal beef with you; I simply believe that the welfare of employees should take precedence over spending resources on things that aren't important."
Mr. President, so many individuals approach you with lies in order to obtain a favor. Please double-check facts and do the correct thing, sir."
"The money they are forcing you to spend on your presidential ambitions is sufficient to provide for teachers and local government employees."
We don't reign for eternity, and we don't live for eternity, Sir." May Allah, the Almighty, grant you the knowledge to make the right decision. "GYB, you're not doing that well right now."
