50 Ethiopian hostages were found trapped at a house in Lenasia, story of how it happened is sh0cking

A video has been trending on social media of 50 Undocumented Ethiopian nationals who were rescued by police at a house in Zakariyya Park near Lenasia.

According to the Flyingnewslive news report, on 16 October 2021 police in Lenasia responded to intelligence information which led them to a house in Zakariyya Park near Lenasia, Gauteng Province when they arrived at the house they found 50 kidnapped Undocumented Ethiopian nationals aged between 12 and 50 held hostage by one suspect.

It's alleged that these individuals where brought to South Africa to be reunited with their families but the man who brought them into the country demanded money from their families before he could release them, the families of the hostages informed the police and that’s how they were able to be rescued.

The 49 year old was arrested by police for kidnapping and he will soon be appearing at the Johannesburg magistrate’s court on Monday 18 October 2021, the Ethiopian nationals are will be processed by the department of home affairs and will soon be reunited with their families.
