A Drone exposed Zama Zamas who were out in their hundreds Today, SAPS was nowhere to be found

A drone footage taken today exposed Zama Zamas (illegal miners) who were out in their hundreds around Germiston, Brakpan, Springs, Golden Drive, Putfontein and Benoni, the South African Police Service special new unit was nowhere to be found.

According to the Make South Africa safe news report, earlier today, Tuesday, 9 August 2022 a drone footage exposed a village of Illegal buyers and processing plants in Cloverdene and Golden Drive, the community members in the area stated that police know about these activities but no action is being taken.

Locals said there are times where police would come then they would dissappear again, the drone footage also captured Zama Zamas (illegal miners) running massive operations around Germiston, Brakpan, Springs, Putfontein and Benoni. All these activities were conducted openly in broad daylight.

The South African Police Service (SAPS) should take further steps to investigate this matter and close down these illegal operations, and arrests should be made.
