South Africa is gradually turning into a lawless state where anything can go. Some unpleasant news we often hear in other countries of the world is now happening right under our nose courtesy of criminally minded individuals who wants to survive by any means possible.
Ever since the July looting incident last year, we've been having a couple of looting at intervals across the country and this does not speak well of our nation in the international community. Earlier today, it was reported that a fuel tanker truck overturned in Kroonstad, Free State and residents of the area started scooping fuel with buckets and jugs.
In an emerging report, it's been confirmed that residents of Alexandra overturned a truckload of soft drinks along Marlboro Drive and started looting everything inside. In a video circulating online, motorist could be seen stopping right in the middle of the road and rushing down to the truck to steal some soft drinks.
This is totally uncalled for and it's quite unfortunate that no law enforcement agents were on ground to disperse the criminals from further stealing from the truck.
This was contained in a video report issued by Beast of News on Twitter and it reads:
"Truck loaded with soft drinks overturned in Marlboro Drive near Alexandra. Residents in the area and some motorists are looting".
