(3) South Africans and (2) Botswana nationals arrested by Botswana Police Services in Gaborone, Botswana.
It is reported that a gang involved in cash-in-transit heist in Botswana, Gaborone have been arrested.Apparently (3) South Africans and (2) Botswana nationals have been apprehended after trying to escape using an alleged stolen getaway vehicle.The suspects were found with AK-47 rifles and electronic communication jammers that they were using to commit the crime.
It is suspected that the rifles used are some that have been stolen together with (4) pistols from a police station.
The Botswana Police Services chased the suspects until they had no other way to escape.The suspects are believed to be also involved in other crimes committef and have cases pending on them while others are still investigated.The suspects have been wanted by the Botswana Police Services anf they have finally apprehended them.
