Joburg Metro Police Warn Dudula Members not to Deny Residents Right to Healthcare at Mayfair Clinic

The activities of operation dudula members is currently causing a whole lot of tension in the country. The group is well known for their stance on issues surrounding illegal immigration into the country and demand for the prioritization of citizens.

Members of operation dudula have held severely protest across the country in a bid to get their voices heard by appropriate authorities. They have also called on health facilities across the country to desist from using tax payers money in catering for the health problems of illegal immigrants living in the country.

Meanwhile, a recent development say that the members of operation dudula were confronted by Johannesburg Metropolitan Police Department Chief, Mr A Mokasi during their peaceful March in from of Mayfair Clinic.

Members of the group denied those perceived to be foreign nationals access into the hospital while stating that they are exploiting our country without adding any value in return.

During his speech the Police Chief reminded members of operation dudula that they have the right to protest but cannot intimidate or deny patients access into the facility because of their nationality or whatever reason.

According to a statement released by Joburg Metro Police on Twitter:

"JMPD Assistant Chief A Mokasi addressing Dudula members at Mayfair Clinic regarding issues of closing Mayfair Clinic prohiting the community access.

Dudula members may picket outside the hospital its their democratic right, but not deny people the right to health".
