A young Botswana woman who allegedly killed her boyfriends four year old child is now facing the music in court.
22 year old Mpho Tebogo killed the child be hitting her head against the wall.
"The investigations in the matter are complete so we are waiting for the letter to be typed so we can take the matter to the High Court,” said State Prosecutor, Kenneth Edward, in court on Tuesday.
Looking uncomfortable in the dock, the accused, Tebogo, said she had nothing to say.
Allegations are that Tebogo had a tendency of abusing the baby. Tonota residents were left shell shocked when they heard about the offence she had allegedly committed.
Some said they were angry because the father of the child did not notice that her child was being abused by the woman. They said it could have been prevented had the child's father paid more attention on the little girl.
