Cheating went wrong; married woman dies in Catholic priest's house

A married woman died at the home of a Catholic priest in Lusaka, Zambia. She had lied to her spouse about going to a funeral. The Church suspended Father Abel Mwelwa and ordered him to pay for the funeral expenses.

According to reports, the married lady is a member of the Catholic Women's League from St Maurice Catholic Church in Lusaka, Zambia.

The married lady who died at the catholic priest's house reportedly lied to her husband about her whereabouts by citing a funeral to justify spending days in the catholic priest's home.

According to accounts, the dead was welcomed home by a catholic priest on Thursday night. The Church is reported to have suspended the catholic priest known as Father Abel Mwelwa and ordered him to pay all burial costs for his ex-lover who died in his chamber.

The Archbishop of the parish, Alick Banda, was the one who removed the Catholic priest from the Lusaka branch church.

Following Father Mwelwa's suspension from the Kaunda Square Parish, the church issued an official letter that reads:

“I now tell you that I have suspended the Rev. Ringford Abel Mwelwa from the priesthood indefinitely with immediate effect. He is no longer the Parish Priest of Kaunda Square Parish as a result of his suspension.

According to an unverified source, the married woman died after a catholic priest put a substance in her drink in an effort to learn about her pregnancy.
