Two dead, one injured in shoot-out with Phoenix police

An examination is in progress into the passing of two men and the injury of a third in a shoot-out with police in Phoenix, north of Durban, during the early long periods of Thursday. 


Autonomous Police Investigative Directorate (Ipid) representative Grace Langa said police recognized a vehicle with dubious inhabitants on Northern Drive and requested them to stop. 


At the point when the driver wouldn't stop, officials drove close by the vehicle to rehash the request.

Langa said they purportedly started shooting at the official, harming him on his leg. 


They purportedly kept terminating at police as they attempted to get away.

Two of the suspects were killed and one was harmed and taken to clinic. 


Langa said Ipid was called to the scene at 2.10am and examinations are proceeding.We ought to see what will happen next.
