As everyone probably knows by now, residents in Mankweng Limpopo are currently experiencing flooding in the area that has messed up their homes and forced them to leave their beautiful homes and find some dry land.
Believe it or not, this flooding situation could have been avoided from the get-go but because these residents decided to listen to the EFF and not experts when they warned them about building houses in that specific area.
Recently, a resident from another part of Mankweng living closeby to where the floods occurred, has posted on his Facebook page that those residents were warned that the area they wanted to build their homes on won't be sustainable during heavy rain times because its an area that's liked by water but unfortunately, arrogance played a role and now we're here.
Fortunately enough, no death has occurred during the flooding but residents should next time learn to listen to experts in Townplanning and not the EFF who're a bunch of loudmouths.
