A horrific accident has been reported on the R547 near Brendan Village turnoff. The accident is said to have taken place at 11:00 am on the morning of Sunday the 26th of June 2022.
It is alleged that the diver of the Polo attempted to overtake vehicles but instead collided into one of the other vehicle.
2 persons suffered moderate and serious injures and were taken to hospital for medical care and attention. No fatalities have been recorded.
There was medical personnel and emergency services personnel at the scene, who inspected the injured individuals and the extent of their injuries, as well as to investigate the scene of the accident.
Road users are urged to follow all road rules at to avoid overtaking other vehicles in order to prevent any accidents as a result of failed attempts to overtake.
