An update was reportedly issued by the families of the two learners from a Daveyton school who died from gunshot wounds . During the week , it was reported that two learners had died as a result of shootings , with the other having been allegedly shot in the head while the other died from shooting himself . However , the families of the boys reportedly dismissed the claims that the shootings were a result of an argument between the two .

The families reportedly said that there were no fights or misunderstandings that were involved either .In a statement that was reportedly released , the deceased Njabulo Ndhlebe , Zukiso Majola and a third friend decided to sneak out of the school on that day and went to Zukiso's place .

When they got there , Zukiso reportedly showed his friends a gun that that he had taken without the knowledge of his parents that belonged to his grandfather .As Zukiso wanted to impress his friends , he loaded the unloaded gun and allegedly started playing with it . While he was playing with the gun , it was then that he allegedly shot his friend behind his ear .The third friend who was in panic and shock reportedly ran off to where he stayed and Zukiso ran after his friend so that he could assist him .The Community members of Chief Albert Luthuli reportedly came out to confront the boys regarding what had happened .

In panic and shock , Zukiso ran back home , closed the garage and reportedly shot himself in the head . The three were described as having been friends for a long time .
