Police Mr Bheki Cele and Gauteng Premier David Makhura who visited the home of ANC councilor who was killed in a hail of slugs coming back on have uncovered that the suspects have been distinguished.
Tshepo Motaung was killed while driving home on Friday.
"It seems as though the KZN issues of political killings have been taken on by Tshwane however I got the preparation toward the beginning of today by the group who are managing this case, I'm fulfilled that we have the names of individuals we need and we have the essences of individuals we need," he said.
Clergyman Bheki Cele likewise affirmed that Motaung was taken shots at short proximity multiple times which appear to be a mafia style of execution.
"I don't why you would kill one man with 20 slugs of a great rifle that can kill elephants. It is a severity we don't comprehend," he said.
Cele adds that police are searching for the individuals who arranged Motaung's killing as his death appears as though a planned one by individuals who have a rationale.
"The trigger pullers aren't the ones we need most. Individuals that we need are organizers and the plotters. Individuals who sent the executioners. We found that in KwaZulu-Natal that these individuals that kill these councilors don't have any acquaintance with them, they read on paper that they who they need to kill and are to simply kill. They don't have a clue why," he said.
