A cyclist was hit and killed on R36 near Maake plaza in the Greater Tzaneen Municipality this morning, 21 February 2021, it is alleged that a VW Polo hit the cyclist and ran away before the police arrived. By the time the police were called to the scene he was gone and when the paramedics checked the victim they declared him dead on the scene sadly.
Condolences to the family who have lost a member, the guy was probably performing his duties when he got killed. This is not the first time something like this is happening and the drivers are always blaming the cyclist but clearly this one realized that he will lose the case.
Driving at a high-speed is very wrong because you will be risking your life and even worse innocent people’s lives, so you must always be mindful of what you do before you do so.
