At approximately 23:10 last night our emergency control center received multiple zone activations from a business premises alarm system in Warner Beach, Amanzimtoti.
Our armed response units was immediately dispatched, and the information was also relayed over the CCPO radio network, whereby CCPO and Blue responded.
Our ET Rapid Response officer managed to catch the suspect who had broken in through the roof. The suspect was handed over to Amanzimtoti South African Police Services for booking and further investigations to see if it does not connect to other crimes that we committed around the area.
It is common knowledge that whenever perpetrators of crimes unsuccessfully and a Robbery and a certain area they tend to come back to that area in order to do more robberies, but unfortunately some of them have their luck ran out on them.
Law enforcement are always adding members of the public who may have information that could lead to the arrest of Suspects, who are involved in Criminal activities to come forward and give that information so that they can be brought to Justice.
