A sad report has been issued regarding some residents in Gauteng who have gone for days without electricity .
The outages are reported to be a result of the damage on the infrastructure of the power utility company as well as overloads .It is reported that a number of residents took their frustration to the Twitter platform where they expressed disgust over power outages that have been a result of damaged infrastructure and network overload .
The power utility company is reported to have advised residents to switch off electrical equipment during load shedding in order to avoid damage when power is restored .
The power utility company did admit that it was experiencing a high number of faults in Gauteng and that their staff was working hard to bring the situation under control .Eskom upgraded load shedding from Stage 2 to Stage 4 that started on Monday afternoon .
