It has been reported that there has been an accident at N2 South bound at a place called Esperanza which actually involved a total of 13 vehicles.

According to Arrive Alive, the KwaZulu Private Ambulance had to respond fast this afternoon after 13 vehicles collided at N2 South bound.
A total of 19 people were injured during the collision and the medical team had to quickly respond in order to assist those who were seriously injured.

Some were seriously injured, while some sustained only minor injuries. It was not specified on how many were seriously injured and how many sustained minor injuries.
When speaking to the media, one of the sources revealed that ig was the smoke which was produced by the grass fire that decreased the viability.
The smoke of the grass fire is the one that caused the collision. It is believed that the recovery services are currently clearing the road.
