A woman who tweeted that she had never seen a Coca-Cola truck delivering from Pakistani shops got people talking and started sharing their own stories.


Those unbranded bakkies, as you call them, belong to what are called runners, who are community-based small transport businesses. The system has been there before a single Pakistani owned a spaza shop in the townships.


I've never seen a Coca-Cola truck unloading drinks in these Parkistan Spaza stores.It's always some shaddy barkies that are not even branded.
