Mpumalanga people group wellbeing, security and contact's representative Moeti Mmusi said reports demonstrated that all vehicles included were driving towards Mbombela coming from the bearing of Malelane when the accident occurred at around 9pm.

"The expired died at the scene and transporter got away safe. The vehicles included are the Nissan Sentra and the Toyota Cressida," he said.

"It is accepted that one of the vehicles was being towed when the two of them let completely go and gone before the truck going in a similar course."
The truck then crushed into the rear of one the two cars, killing the three men right away.
