Kidnapped Chief Still Not Found, Family Lost Hope

The family of KwaNyuswa Acting Chief Makhosandile Ngcobo (54) has lost hope that he will ever be found. He was kidnapped in April by people who pretended to be police officers.

Speaking on behalf of the family members Mqondisi Ngcobo said they have lost hope that they will find him alive as he has been missing for seven months. Police have been dragging their feet towards this matter.

'Our wish is to bury his bone, the situation is getting better in the family though things are still difficult but some have accepted. We are getting no information or help about this matter as the police are also quiet. Another thing that made us realise that police are dragging their feet towards this matter is the fact that he was once shot at, mentioned all the people he saw but still no one is arrested for that case up until now.' Explained Ngcobo.

Speaking on behalf of the police Captain Nqobile Gwala stated that the victim has not yet been found but police investigation goes on.
