Police have launched an investigation aimed capturing the suspect/s responsible for the killing of two women at Site-B in khayelitsha last night.
According to the daily talk online TV news report, two young women aged between 18 and 21 were shot and killed last night 27 September 2021 at around 20:00 in Site-B, Khayelitsha the women were discovered by members of the community lying in a pool of blood between the shacks.
As soon as they were discovered Police were called to the scene and a case of murder was opened the police are currently investigating the matter with hopes that the suspect/s responsible for the killing will be arrested, whoever has information that can be helpful in leading to the arrest of the suspect/s should provide the information anonymously to the police.
Circumstances leading to up to the killing of the young women is still unknown at this stage, this incident once again proves that South Africa has become very unsafe for women and serious intervention is needed to combat gender based violence.
