On the 5th of October 21, one business located in Stamford Hill was left in tatters after a gang of dangerous thugs stormed into its premises.
According to a report which was published by Arrive Alive, the thugs showed no mercy as they were ruthless and had come only for the money. One would be made to wonder what really is giving these thugs the audacity to rob businesses in broad daylight.
Should we blame it on the lack of adequate security personnel in the are or should we point fingers on the high number of illegal firearms which are in the hand of dangerous criminals? That is a debate for another day as the state of security in South Africa continues to deteriorate with each passing day.
First responders were summoned to a scene that was located along Umgeni Road as there was a report of a robbery and shooting. When the paramedics got to the scene, law enforcement agents and private security teams were already in attendance.
During the investigations, it was established that an unknown number of armed suspects had ransacked a business which operates in the Stamford Hill area. They were firing bullet shots recklessly and lives of their victims were placed on the line. Some of the victims had been shot.
An assessment was carried out on the victims who had been shot, and it was established the two people had sustained minor injuries. The victims were treated on the scene before they were transported to a nearby hospital using an ambulance.
Details surrounding this robbery incident are not yet tries to clear. Members of the South African Police Services are active on the scene conducting the necessary investigations.
This can best be described as just another day in a crime riddled nation called South Africa. It remains a mystery on how long law abiding citizens will be held hostage by these armed thugs.
